Flowers, windmills, cheese, clogs and Amsterdam! They are all included in this tour to Holland in Springtime, its most colourful time of the year.
You will be able to explore the beautiful KEUKENHOF GARDENS, a 70-acre park, in the heart of the DUTCH BULB FIELDS, where the very best displays of flowers, from bulb growers from all over Holland, are featured each year. Here you can see millions of blossoming shrubs, flowers and plants, all set amongst magnificent ornamental lakes in these lovely landscaped gardens.
As no trip to Holland is complete without seeing AMSTERDAM, we will be making a short visit, with time for you to explore one of the main tourist spots such as Anne Frank's House, the Rijks Museum, or shop, before rejoining the group for an optional canal trip. This is the best way to view the city's wonderful gabled buildings, dating from its Golden Age of the 17th Century.
We also visit the pretty Dutch town of DELFT, where you have the opportunity to take a guided tour of the famous pottery, as well as buy some magnificent Delftware. You also have the option to visit the world famous MODEL TOWN OF MADURODAM.
This tour will be based for two nights in THE HAGUE, the seat of government and the Royal Palace. This bargain break has been specially designed to make the maximum use of your time and should truly appeal to the whole family.
